The Edinburgh Folk Club annual Burns’ Supper is always great fun as well as a sell-out!

2025’s event promises to be a most entertaining evening. As usual there’ll be haggis, bashed neeps and champit tatties just as you’d expect, plus we will have are amazing guest performer Tich Frier! His interpretation and presentation of Robert Burns is the culmination of those many years in which he has brought a lot of enjoyment and pleasure to literally thousands of people.

The wonderful people at the Ukrainian Community Centre have agreed once again to do our catering which previously we have enjoyed enormously starting with soup followed by a delicious home-made plates of haggis (inc vegetarian haggis option), as above and a nip of whisky for the toast.

What to Expect:

Piping in the Haggis: Enjoy the ceremonial piping in of the haggis, a highlight of the evening with our very own Gary West.

Addressing the Haggis: Experience the dramatic recitation of Burns’ famous poem, “Address to a Haggis.”

Traditional Meal: Savour a delicious meal featuring Haggis, Neeps and Tatties and enjoy a wee dram.

Music and Poetry: Delight in performances of traditional Scottish music and poetry, including a special set by Tich Frier!
